In order to learn from the prevention and control of COVID-19 and to improve the overall public health system in our country, experts from the fields of public health, medical care, the vaccine industry, information technology, legal affairs, local governance, and academia were invited. At the level of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the selected discussion topics included "Border Quarantine," "Epidemic Surveillance and Forecasting," "Information Technology," " Healthcare Response," "Vaccines, Antiviral Drugs, and Rapid Test Kits," "Masks and Personal Protective Equipment Supplies," "Campus Epidemic Prevention," and "Risk Communication." Objective reviews of the country's COVID-19 prevention and control efforts were conducted to identify shortcomings in response measures, and specific improvement suggestions are proposed. These suggestions are provided to the government to enhance the effectiveness of pandemic response and preparedness for future health crises.
